OPTIONAL FIELD NOTES ·

Connection is a conversation,
not a puzzle to solve.

Optional notes, not a winning strategy. Reading them does not change your story odds, allowance or ending. Characters are fictional, and story states are not a way to score real people.

  1. Be specific. Stay curious.

Instead of assuming “They must dislike me,” try “I felt disappointed when our plan changed.” Ask what happened and leave room for their answer.

  2. Let someone meet the real you.

Share interests, experiences and feelings you actually have. You do not need invented status, jealousy or hot-and-cold behavior to be interesting.

  3. Make invitations easy to decline.

Suggest something clear and low-pressure: “Would you like to get coffee this weekend? No worries if not.” A no is an answer. Silence and hesitation are not consent.

  4. Feelings are information, not leverage.

Excitement, nerves and disappointment are all allowed. Take a break when overwhelmed; do not provoke, shame or withdraw contact to force agreement.

  5. Talk through differences. Respect boundaries.

Reflect the concern you heard before explaining your needs. Physical intimacy requires clear, ongoing and reversible consent. “Stop” means stop now.

  6. Shared memories are not a debt.

New experiences can help you get to know each other. Time, gifts and money never entitle anyone to affection or intimacy.

  7. Repair is possible. So is an ending.

Making up takes willingness on both sides, not pretending the issue disappeared. A breakup can hurt without being a verdict on your worth or a challenge to keep pursuing.

  8. Keep a life beyond the story.

Fictional companionship can be a place to play and express yourself. Make room for rest, friends and interests too. Taking time away never triggers a punishment event.
